    I have a question

Do you have a question about our magnifying glasses or how we work? Ask your question below and we will answer you as soon as possible.

      About us

BINOC VISION specializes in fitting and manufacturing magnifying glasses. A team of professionals including opticians and optometrists is at your service with the goal of offering high-quality magnifying glasses on the market at a competitive price. There is no expensive sales force; customers order their magnifying glasses directly from the professionals at BINOC VISION. This helps keep care, both for the physician and the patient, affordable.

We attach great value to personal contact with our customers, as this is the best way to advise them. That is why we also invite you to make an appointment with us for an expert measurement at our premises in Doorn. We manufacture all magnifying glasses in there own aterlier. By using state-of-the-art grinding machines and our expertise, we are able to manufacture and deliver glasses at a high level. We are based in Doorn and work closely with our sister company, Hooykaas Opticals (optics specialist)

In order to optimally tailor your magnifying glasses to your needs, we will go through the steps below with you. We do this in Doorn, where all specialised equipment is available to measure your magnifying glasses with the utmost care. Moreover, opticians as well as optometrists are available there to give you the best advice in case of eye problems.

Our experience figures show that most customers opt for 2.5x magnification. This magnification produces a calm image of a working field that is approximately 8 x 8 cm in size. Magnifying glasses from BINOC VISION are therefore equipped with 2.5x magnification as standard.

The working distance is the distance between your eyes and the working field. This working distance is incorporated into the magnifiers. This ensures that the working field is razor-sharp at the right distance. Our experience figures show that dentists usually opt for a working distance of 42 cm, while surgeons prefer a slightly larger working distance, namely 55 cm. Our magnifying glasses therefore come standard with magnifiers equipped with working distance 42cm or 55cm. Upon request, we can incorporate any other desired working distance into the magnifiers.

Pupil distance is the distance between your pupils. This is different for everyone. When making your magnifying glasses, this is an important parameter because we use it to determine the position of the magnifiers in the lenses. Therefore, we need to know what your so-called 'distance PD' is.

If you wear glasses, we can also process your prescription in magnifying glasses. If you have had new glasses fitted in the past two years, we can process the correction based on your optician's prescription. Of course, you can also make an appointment for a current eye measurement at our practice in Doorn. There are no additional costs associated with this eye measurement. Based on your wishes and the measurement data obtained, we will make you an offer. As soon as you approve it, we will customise your magnifying glasses for you in our workshop.

      Magnifying glasses from Binoc Vision

BINOC VISION magnifying glasses are fitted with high-quality Galileo magnifier systems that ensure quiet and magnification with a high degree of magnification. The glasses are made according to the TTl principle (Through The Lens), which shortens the distance between the magnifiers and the cornea, thereby providing optimal vision.
